BSEK: The main objective of Karachi Secondary Board is to provide high quality education and examination services for the educational institutions affiliated with it. BSE Karachi arranges sports and other healthful activities. Karachi Board result shows the good quality of education in the city. BSEK Results are declared in March every year.
BIEK: Under the provision of "Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education amendment act No. 20 of 1973, the existence of Intermediate Board Karachi was taken place in 1974. BIEK is responsible for the organization, regulation, development and control of Intermediate Education in schools and colleges come under its jurisdiction. Governor of Sindh or his nominee are the controlling Authority of the BIE Karachi. The Chairman is the principal executive and academic officer of the Board, while the Secretary is the in charge of the academic and administrative Sector and the Controller of Examinations. Karachi Intermediate Board had only 17 officers and 113 officials in 1974, but now it has 51 officers and 246 officials. Karachi Board consisted of many Statutory and non-Statutory committees to perform extra curricular activities in Higher Secondary Schools and colleges concerned with it. Biek results are prepared transparently and declared regularly.
