Karachi, Pakistan Council for Science and Technology has awarded Research productivity Awards 2011 to research scholars of Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology including Prof Dr Moin Ud Din Ahmed of Department of Botany, Assistant Prof Dr Itrat Fatima of Department of Pharmacy and Assistant Prof Dr Sobiya Parwez of Department of Chemistry.
According to the notification, the purpose of the Research Productivity Award is to improve the quality and number of research papers publications in foreign journals.  Since it existence the number and quality of research has been improved and educational and research institution in private sector are also declared eligible for the purpose in order to enhance the number of research publication from our country.
