KPK Government Award Free Laptop Scheme 2012 to 25000 Students

Peshawar, The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa Amir Haider Hoti has said in the meeting held in the Chief Minister Secretariat that their government will award free laptops to the talented and intelligent students of the government education institutions or colleges and universities of the province. He also said that their government has reserved about one billion rupees for this project in which the laptops will be awarded to about 25,000 students.

He also said that this scheme is functioning in Punjab very successfully and thousands of students get benefit from this marvelous and tremendous scheme. The KPK government is going to award laptops during last week of December. He also announced that the laptops distribution will be started from the BS 4 years program and students of medical and engineering colleges or university students in recognition of their brilliant performance during their academic session. For the disabled students of BS or medical and engineering colleges, 2% quota has been reserved. The KPK government has also that the students in master programs in all public or private educational institutions will not consider for the subject scheme.

The government before launching this scheme, named it as ‘Naway Sahar Scheme’ under which the distribution of laptops is being done. This remarkable scheme will encourage all the students and they will work hard and get maximum marks to get benefit from this tremendous scheme.
