The Forman Christian College was founded in 1864 and it was given the name of FC College but after handing it over to the Christian community, its name was altered as Forman Christian College. The FC college was considered one of the most advancing colleges of the sub-continent which is imparting top level education with the challenge of ever increasing and splendid work along with its curriculum, admission policies and the severity of its academic programs. Now the status of the college has been upgraded as degree awarding university. Now FCC is considered one of those universities of Pakistan which are indulging in provision of high standard of education and research work.

Now FFC is offering admission in 4 years Bachelor Programs in Science, Business, Computing and Arts by Forman Christian College University.
