Workshops for Master Trainers Start by IUCSSA in Sindh

Bahawalpur, To grow the education standard in the country and search for the hidden talent in the remote area of Sindh and South Punjab, Higher Education Commission and National Testing Service started their efforts to hold the workshops for imparting training to the master trainers in the Universities of Sindh.

The main objective of this workshop is to search for talented youth and give them maximum education in their relevant fields and make them brilliant professional and useful citizen of the country.

Through this program, necessary training and guidance will be provided to the scholars and faculty members so that they carry out scholarship programs in remote areas. They will get necessary knowledge of the scholarship programs, its eligibility, criteria and the procedure of the scholarship under which the talented and intelligent students can avail the opportunity to enhance their education and research activities.

According to the Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur, Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, the workshop which are being undertaken for providing guidance to the faculty members and scholar of Sindh and South Punjab Universities for the right application of scholarship will help the government to search the talented and skilled students and provide them academic and education excellence in their favourite field.

The workshops will be carried out after making necessary arrangements including discussion with respective Vice Chancellors, educationists and the students of that region. He also said that this useful and beneficial program can also be introduced in the universities of South Punjab which will facilitate the scholars and educationists to look for talented and skilled students in the remote and less privileged areas of South Punjab.

Students of Punjab Board of Technical Education Get 81 Laptops

Lahore, the brilliant and intelligent students of technical institutions got positions in the technical exams in which they have been granted scholarships. To encourage the technical education in the whole province, MNA Hamza Shahbaz has announced that the scholarships will be doubled in technical education.

In the prize distribution ceremony held in Al-Hamra hall, the chief guest handed over 81 laptops to the students of Punjab Board of Technical Education on Wednesday. He further added that a committee of technical experts will be made which will solve the problems of the graduate students of institutions of technical education while applying for admission in engineering universities.

Cultural Exchange Scholarship Program 2013 arranged by MIPC

Islamabad, Cultural Exchange Scholarship Program 2013 has been started by the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination for which GRE (Local) subject wise test will be held for grant of scholarship by National Testing Service.

The interested candidates who qualify for the subject scholarship are hereby advised to apply for the scholarship through their application to National Testing Service till November 07, 2012. NTS will conduct the test on December 02, 2012. The scholarship will be awarded for getting higher education of masters and PhD in different subjects from other countries including China, Romania, Russia, Italy, South Korea, Czech Republic, Greece, Mexico, Slovak Republic and Turkey. The donor countries will provide facilities including accommodation, tuition fee and monthly living allowance which will be different in different countries.

The candidates who have completed their 16 years education in which they must complete their four years degrees in Master degree, MBBS, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Engg), BCS (Hons) in the relevant field.

At the time of closing date of application, the candidates should not be more than 35 years and they should not be held more than one second division in their whole academic career. The candidates should annex the photo copies of all documents and certificates, domicile certificate along with their application forms. The candidates who got degree in professional discipline like MBBS, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSC (Engg) should attach the marks sheet of each year of their relevant discipline with the application forms.

Punjab Youth Internship Program 2012 Start by Government of Punjab

Lahore, Punjab government has already started Shahbaz Sharif Youth Employment Program under which Punjab Youth Internship Program is going to be conducted. The opening ceremony of the Internship program has been celebrated in Al-Hamra Open Air Cultural Complex in Lahore Qaddafi Stadium.

This PYIP program has been designed for the highly educated unemployed youth of the province who have completed their master degree and their age is also less than 30 years. With the help of this program, these unemployed educated youth will be given training to improve their skills and expertise and they can also get the better employment opportunities in different departments. The selected candidates will be given training for 3 months with monthly scholarship to sharp their skills and learning in the respective fields.

The program is offered to all candidates whose minimum education is graduation and age is less than 30 years. This program is offered to about 50,000 candidates who recently completed their graduation and now they are unemployed and looking for some suitable job opportunity.

Internship Program Launch by PTCL for Benefit to 500 youth

Islamabad, Internship program to provide benefit to 500 internees has been launched by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited through their unique one year internship paid project. PTCL has been undertaken this unique project through its Corporate Social Responsibility with the offer of stipend of Rs.12000 per month.

PTCL announced this project and ask the interested and eligible candidates to submit applications for the subject program and up till now they received more than 50,000 applications. National Testing Service conducted different tough and cumbersome interviews and other tests from which they selected about 500 candidates for the subject program in which various disciplines has been introduced including Associate Engineers and Technical Engineers, finance, sales and marketing and HR. the program which will be continued for about one year will be given training in training centers of PTCL with detailed orientation sessions from the start of October.

AIOU Amends Schedules of SSC, CT and B.Ed Exams

Islamabad, The final exams of Secondary School Certificate, CT and B.Ed programs have been announced to be held on October 26, 2012 by the Allama Iqbal Open University previously. After the announcement of holidays on Eid ul Azha by the government of Pakistan on October 26, the papers for the course code numbers 2601, 513, 247 and 638 for the spring semester 2012 will be conducted on November 02, 2012. The timings of the commencement of the papers and the exams centers will be same. All the students of the relevant papers are instructed to appear in these papers on November 02, 2012.

Karachi Board Matric 9th Class Result 2012

Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has declared annual Matric part I (SSC) Result 2012 for General Group regular and private candidates.

As per record from Karachi Board, Here is 25352 private and regular students who appeared in the final annual examination. While 15,9700 students have passed their examination result, so the ratio of success is about 60 percent.

Registration of BA/BSc/B.Com Classes till Nov 05 by Karachi University

Karachi, Karachi University is going to start registration of BA/BSc/B.Com classes for which registration forms are received in the admission department of the University. The University administration has announced that all interested candidates should contact with the bank counters established at the silver jubilee gate of the university and obtain registration forms. They should submit registration forms at the same center after completing it with regular fee till November 05, 2012.

The university administration also made it clear that the admission forms for annual exams of LLM final year are being received by the university with regular fee which will last for October 31, 2012. The interested candidates should be hurry to obtain and submit admission forms.

BISE Lahore Starts Intermediate Supply Exams 2012 From Nov 06

Lahore, Lahore Board has declared that intermediate supplementary exams are going to start in all in government and private schools and colleges which are affiliated with the educational boards of the province from November 06, 2012.

The meeting of the controllers of the exams of all boards has been conducted in which it has been decided that the theory papers will be started from November 06, 2012 in all educational boards of the province at the same day and time and the practical papers from December 07, 2012. The meeting has also decided the whole schedule of the intermediate supply exams which the relevant educational boards will send to their students within short possible time. The students should keep in mind that the last date for submission of application forms for intermediate supply exams is October 25, 2012 so they should hurry to submit their admission forms before the end of the last date.

Lahore board has announced that the administration of Lahore board has formulated a policy under which five female students of Lahore board who passed their intermediate exams with mathematics and secured highest marks should be granted with scholarships every year. This year they asked the female students to forward their applications written on the simple papers and supported with the photo copy of their result card send to the Lahore board with the recommendations of their Principal of the institution where they are studying. The female students who got admission in BA/BSc/B.Com with mathematics as a subject are eligible to apply for the said scholarship. The last date for the submission of applications for the subject scholarship is October 25, 2012.

The representative of the board said that the objective of the subject scholarship is to give the value to the mathematics and make it popular among female students.

PU Students Succeed in Research Development Project

Lahore, The competition of Research Development Project was under taken be the Pakistan Students Congress 2012, Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers of GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in which two students of Punjab University Lahore, Waqar Ahmed and Saba Wahab partook and stood first in the competition.
